Athena Scholarship 2026-27

The Study Abroad Scholarship Program is designed to provide mentoring and guidance to academically talented underprivileged students who aspire to study at top universities abroad as well as in India. This initiative focuses on skill development, university application submission, and exposure to global/local education opportunities. While the program does not offer direct financial aid, it ensures that students receive the necessary mentorship and resources to maximize their chances of earning admission to prestigious institutions with financial aid from other sources.

Program Structure

Duration: 6–12 months (based on student program needs)

Guidance on securing financial aid or scholarships

Eligibility Criteria

Grade Level

11th / 12th-grade students
(Pass-out Year: 2026 / 2027)

Financial Requirement

Family income below ₹8,00,000 per annum

Financial Support Eligibility

Priority will be given to students demonstrating high financial need

Science Students

Minimum 90%+ consistently throughout 9th-11th / 12th grade

Humanities & Commerce Students

Minimum 90%+ consistently throughout 9th-11th / 12th grade

English Proficiency

85%+ in English throughout 9th-11th / 12th grade

Additional Factors

Rural background, Leadership, extracurriculars, and/or special talents may be considered
